Litfass in Halver

The Litfass is a small, cozy restaurant (if you want to have a seat, it is better to reserve a seat in advance). The food is great! Especially the burgers. We ordered burgers to take away yesterday. They looked like they were on the website and not clapped lovelessly together. A dream in terms of taste A big compliment (not everyone notices) for the packaging, everything is sustainably wrapped - no plastic. Keep it up!

There were three of us tonight for dinner. I made a reservation online today at noon. Approx. 30 minutes later, a man from Litfass Halver called me and confirmed my reservation. The first look from the outside is very inviting. Inside we were welcomed in a super friendly way and accompanied to our high table. Very comfortable stool. My husband ate a steak with herb butter and steak house fries. My son a Wienerschnitzel with steakhouse fries. I myself have a ceaserburger with steak house fries. We were all absolutely thrilled. The steak was world class, the Wienerschnitzel was freshly breaded and my burger was super great. The whole atmosphere was just right. The service was on the ball. Nice, friendly, courteous but also not intrusive. It was a really great evening. We will come again!

Despite reservation, too few seats, unfortunately only the smallest selection of dishes (burgers with or without cheese), which were only served "in pieces" even with advance orders. The question about an additional small side salad was answered with no. Staff overwhelmed in every respect! This can be done better.

We ordered the table online, we were called in the evening and our order was confirmed. So that has worked wonderfully before. The waitresses were super friendly and everything went very quickly. The food was delicious and fresh too. Whether burger or steak, we can highly recommend it.

The store is more reminiscent of a pub, but the food can convince. Find it priced already expensive because the portions are quite small. Pepper on a steak should also be left to the guest.

Recommendation for the people who just want to eat a good steak or 2-3. The salads are great and the burgers are awesome. As a supplement, a pub atmosphere. We were very satisfied and will gladly come back.

This was my first visit to the Litfass on recommendation and was not disappointed. The ambience is cozy and rustic. The service was very attentive and friendly. I ordered a 250 gram rump steak with pepper sauce and fries. Overall, I would not have expected such a steak quality for such a price (approx. 15 €)! The steak was perfectly medium and tender, the pepper sauce was delicious and the chips were crispy.
